Jeannine M. Wright is an accomplished Actress, Author and CEO of Five Star Legacy Corp. who has also written her first novel 'Vengeance The Backstory' as well as ‘A Compilation of 12 Literary Works of Monologues and Poems Plus a Song.’ She developed a passion for acting at the age of 8 years old starting at the Cleveland School of the Arts where she took up theatre and dance. She later went on to do plays in Junior High School. During high school, she modeled in several Fashion/Hair Shows. Upon graduating high school, she began taking acting classes at the Karamu House where she studied beginners, adult, and advanced acting classes including improvisation and performed her first stage reading titled "Theme for Summer Madness." She later took Theatre Appreciation at Cuyahoga Community College and graduated with an AA Degree.

After graduating high school, Jeannine continued her education at the prestigious Ursuline College to complete her BA in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies. After acting for years doing plays in her hometown Cleveland, Ohio, she eventually relocated to Atlanta, Ga. in 2010 advancing her acting career. Jeannine continued auditioning booking plays, short films, and independent films while working for free. She eventually landed an agent in 2015, began booking paid gigs, and is now considered a working actress. She booked reenactment shows and commercials but still wasn't able to breakthrough to a huge network, co-star, guest star or lead role. After years of training with coaches such as Lalanya Abner, Marishka Phillips, Nina Binder and Greg Alan Williams at Actors Breakthrough studios, Jeannine eventually booked her first supporting roles in Emmy nominated show Tough Love Atlanta, comedy series Mo' Waffles, and her first Co-Star role in the hit TV series Will Trent. Jeannine is now producing her own series created from her fiction novel and several other projects that's yet to be produced.

She developed a passion for writing in 2016 with her first novel titled 'VENGEANCE THE BACKSTORY.' During that time she only had the idea in mind and not the full story. She was tired of waiting and the rejections of being told no became overwhelming, so she decided to write a short film that featured herself as the lead. If no one else was going to feature her in there film, she was going to do it herself. She began writing 'VENGEANCE THE BACKSTORY' as well as another short film titled 'INTENTIONS' which she finished in 2019. After completing the final manuscript for 'INTENTIONS', she picked up with the storyline for 'VENGEANCE THE BACKSTORY.' Initially it started out as a short film and eventually evolved into to a full book. As the characters developed and plot grew, she was able to create a plethora of characters with their own individual backstories.  Now, Jeannine truly enjoys the art of writing as well as acting. Acting is her first love and something she will do for the rest of her life and now has developed a passion for writing which will be a part of her journey as an artist as well.

 

She has also developed multiple skills including dancing, modeling, skating, karate, and stage combat just to name a few.  In addition to being an author and actress, Jeannine is a dedicated mentor and coach helping others to achieve their full potential. As an impactful figure in her community, Jeannine has worked with every population, actively participated as a liaison actively mentored the youth in home settings, educational instiutions, group homes helping aide in their personal development, educational goals and life skills. She has also advocated for homeless women and children providing them with the bare necessities such as food, clothing, and toiletries.  Her goal is to continue to pursue her passion in the acting and writing industry and grow in technique, character, diversity, and truth. Jeannine's desire is to encourage others that have an idea or passion to write an amazing story, just start writing your book even if you have no the idea how it will end. As you continue to write, it will come. No matter what, just start and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish and achieve. Anything is possible if you believe.
